1. I’m glad we didn’t have twitter when I was a teenager in the ’90s because I didn’t have to go through getting ridiculed by butthurt people in their 20s and 30s for not knowing some dude that my grandparents listened to.

    Remember when Tony Bennett appeared with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the early ’90s? I was thinking, “Who the fuck is Tony Bennett?” Of course I know who he is now but that was my first reaction when I saw him. We’re all getting older folks. Don’t blame the kids for not knowing someone that their parents probably didn’t even listen to. Be happy for the few kids out there who’ll discover the Beatles in the process of finding out who the fuck he is.

    Word. It’s like when Neil Young played “Rockin’ In The Free World” at the ‘93 VMAs with Pearl Jam. I knew of him back then, but I didn’t know he had songs that rocked like that.
